| Judson Phillips and the Tea Party Nation |
|
Does Phillips honestly want the Republicans to win the Presidency, or, instead, is he busy destroying Romney and secretly supporting Obama’s re-election? Think about this. If Romney does become the Republican nominee for President, and Phillips has convinced Tea Party members not to vote for Romney, causing many Tea Party members to sit out the election, is he not guaranteeing the re-election of Obama? I say, yes. Now the question arises, is Phillips truly who he claims to be, which is the leader of the Tea Party Nation, or is he in fact supporting Obama no matter who the Republican nominee is for President? Either way, he could be responsible for helping re-elect the most Socialist President in the history of this nation. He also would be re-electing a man who has in a few short years nearly destroyed our economy, damaged our standing around the world, and has remained determined to make as many American citizens as possible wards of the Federal Government. Phillips claims that electing Romney would be nothing different than re-electing Obama. What an insane statement! That type statement makes me wonder why any Tea Party member would be swayed by a person who cannot tell day from night or light from darkness. It should be apparent to conservatives that Obama represents night and darkness. Romney, on the other hand, is at least someone who has recognition of right from wrong; Romney also knows what has made America great and has expressed the desire to follow the example of Reagan’s traditional principles. I do not have any animosity against Phillips as I do not know him personally. All I am attempting to do is to warn those who read Phillips’ columns to have an open mind, and to ask questions instead of following the Pied Piper, when the Pied Piper apparently is on a mission that may lead you and this nation to destruction. Anyone who writes a column should be questioned as to his or her motives when their constant attacks against any Republican potential nominee could lead to the re-election of Obama. I recently questioned Mr. Phillips as to his true motives of constantly attacking Romney. His action was, not only to not answer my questions, but to abruptly cut off all communications with me. Is it possible that my questioning Phillips of his motives comes closer to the truth than Mr. Phillips wants to admit, or is it that he does not wish to have his motives exposed to his loyal followers? Finally, to sum up this column, I feel it is the duty of any clear-thinking person to do all they can to defeat Obama in the elections of November, 2012. Any message detracting from that goal must be discarded for the good of this nation. Jim Threlkeld is the author is “Where Roses Have No Thorns”. Judson Phillips is the main columnist for the Tea Party Nation and, I believe, the leader of that organization. Phillips obviously has a revulsion against Mitt Romney, and he seems to be doing his best to poison every Tea Party member against Romney. Actually, it is my opinion that Phillips has such a hatred for Romney that he would rather support Obama than Romney if Romney were to obtain the nomination as the Republican nominee for President. What I would like to do is explore the previous statement a little further with you.
